For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS in Bel Air, Maryland for sale in Bel Air, MD
Vehicle Description THIS IS A CHEVELLE CLONE CAR This car was built on the Baltimore assembly line as a Malibu, and over time, has been converted to an SS Chevelle.
I would rate this car as a B to B+, thus the price.
Totally straight body.
When I purchased the vehicle (2006) in Florida, I had the expert Cubans work their tin magic for the rust around the fenders.
AMAZING WORK!! The motor is a 396ci with a mild cam, Holley 4bbl, Edelbrock manifold, 4 speed Hurst with a Muncie transmission.
The motor was lifted, completely redone at a local engine shop in Maryland, painted, and dropped back in.
The rear was swapped out from 4.
11 to a 3.
05 gearing to make it a driver.
Rallye wheels, tires are like new, power steering added.
Power convertible top.
With a little work, this car would be perfect.
Mechanically, good shape.
You will need a new Tach and adjustment on the shifter rods (annual maintenance).
There is nothing to hide here.
Ask questions, and you will get the straight answer.
I wish I had more time for the car, but life catches up.
Note:
This is not a matching numbers car.
If it was, it would be a Mecum for $85K plus.
This is your opportunity to own a really nice driver, well taken care of, added features for comfort including a rockin' Alpine stereo system.
Can you see yourself cruising down the street with this one? Additional photos available upon request until I upload more.
Low ballers are not responded to.
