Summary:
# Responsible for the provision of psychotherapy and care coordination services including, but not limited to, assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning and coordination of care, case management functions, and provision of individual/family and group therapy.
# May provide crisis intervention and de-escalation.
# Works with diverse populations, demographics, and age groups to provide collaborative care.
# Collects, tabulates data, and alerts treating team to potential/risk issues.
This role completes utilization reviews and all documentation.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Education # Training:
# Master#s Degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited program required.
Maryland licensure LMSW or LGPC is required.
# Licensed LCSW-C or LCPC is preferred.
# BLS certification required within 60 days of start date.
Work Orientation #
Experience:
# #A minimum of two (2) years# experience working in a behavioral health treatment setting implementing psychotherapeutic and crisis intervention services required.
# Care coordination experience preferred.
Skills # Abilities:
#### Demonstrate ability to provide compassionate care in completing psychiatric assessments, treatment plans, care coordination, and discharge planning in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Demonstrate competence in the provision of individual/family therapy and group therapy as needed.
Demonstrate competence to independently assess and treat guests in crisis in a person-centered, compassionate manner.
