Cardiology Technician

Under administrative direction, performs electrocardiographic and other related measurements of the electrical activity of the heart, completes performance and monitoring of all types of exercise stress tests and Holter Monitor scanning and analysis.
# Performs related record keeping (eg logs, filing, order entry processes, chart maintenance).
# Performs testing to patients of all stages of life from neonate to the geriatric population.
# Performs job tasks in both the outpatient and inpatient care settings.
# Education # Training:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Completion of electrocardiographic and arrhythmia course preferred.
# BCLS certification required.
# ACLS training preferred.
# Work Orientation #
Experience:
Experience in the field of electrocardiography desired.
