The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, performing appropriate procedures, and preparing rooms # equipment.

Education # Training:
High school or GED graduation required.
Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant program.
Certification from The American Association of Medical Assistants or other certifying bodies.
# Previous medical assisting experience will be considered in lieu of formal education or certification.
American Heart Association BLS for the Healthcare Provider required.
Work Orientation #
Experience:
1 year experience in a medical office setting preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
