Medical Assistant - UC Endocrine Associates
The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, performing appropriate procedures, and preparing rooms # equipment.
# The MA is also responsible for maintaining records, assisting with front-office activities as available, and interacting in a professional, friendly manner with patients # family members, physicians, staff, and visitors.
Education # Training:
High school or GED graduation required.
Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant program.
Certification from The American Association of Medical Assistants or other certifying bodies.
# Previous medical assisting experience will be considered in lieu of formal education or certification.
American Heart Association BLS for the Healthcare Provider required.

Experience:
1 year experience in a medical office setting preferred.
