As a DICK'S Sporting Goods Lodge Sales Manager you will be responsible for achieving Company objectives in sales performance, profit contribution and profit and loss control by managing the sales aspects of the lodge department.
Essential functions of this position include:
Ensuring that all Company policies, Federal ATF regulations and any applicable state or local regulations are followed in the sale and transfer of firearms Training of the store management team and lodge associates on the regulations and policies Maintaining accurate record of guns on hand, guns received and guns sold Developing schedules for the lodge departments and monitoring payroll on a daily basis to ensure payroll plans are met Driving sales by creating a competitive and profitable work environment that is committed to maximizing sales, minimizing costs and achieving Company objectives Upholding Company standards for merchandise presentation by following established floor sets, signing requirements, price changes, recovery, replenishment, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
