Collections Specialist
BSC America is seeking a full time individual who can assist in the collection of funds from delinquent accounts. This person should be organized, have a strong attention to detail and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Collection experience is a must with cashier experience preferred as well.
Key Responsibilities
The duties include collection calls and/or correspondence.
Providing customer service regarding collection issues, resolve client discrepancies and short payments. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts- Customer calls, and customer reconciliations.
Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts.
Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.
Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
Must communicate & follow up effectively with sales dept regarding customer accounts on a timely basis.
Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with dealers and sales.
Essential Functions
Monthly Delinquency notices
Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due
Provide excellent & considerate customer service to dealers and sales
Internal and External customer interface
Required Skills
Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures
Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience a plus
Strong attention to detail, goal oriented
Cashier experience
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilitiesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
