Job Details:
This position will support a wide variety of hospital clinical and administrative systems. Analysts will be responsible for end user and departmental requests in order to create a specification based on a solid understanding of customer needs and ultimate objectives. The appropriate organizational resources will be utilized to analyze and interpret any and all clinical, financial, market, and quality data including but not limited to inpatient, outpatient, service line, operational, revenue, billing, receivable, and statistical reports. This includes designing and implementing systems and tools to routinely assess alternative courses of action.
Education & Training: A bachelor's degree in computer science, business, finance, economics or health care administration is required. Extensive knowledge of computer systems with particular emphasis in mainframe-microcomputers.
Work Orientation &
Experience: Minimum three years of experience in healthcare operations, finance or information systems is required including data mining, data analysis and interpretation, and presentation and communication of findings to multiple audiences. Demonstrated experience in the preparation and delivery of both small and large group presentations to administrators, physicians, and others. Relevant experience in training individuals in software applications. Experience managing financial and clinical databases including case mix files, cost accounting files, and severity indexed files. Experience coordinating new applications and software implementations. Programming experience in a healthcare environment as well as experience with Microsoft databases and Meditech software is preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
