- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department - Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met - Train and supervise housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance - Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and identify areas for improvement - Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate with vendors for replenishment - Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations - Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services - Maintain a safe working environment for staff by enforcing safety guidelines and protocols
Experience:
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management is required - Strong knowledge of floor care, custodial, and industrial cleaning techniques - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to effectively communicate with staff, guests, and other departments - Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards - Proficient in using cleaning equipment and supplies
